At LifeHikes, a service-based company, we are dedicated to conducting business responsibly, minimizing our environmental impact, and aligning with our clients’ climate goals. We continuously assess how to deliver high-quality services in ways that support a low-carbon economy.
Our Climate Transition Plan
As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility, we have developed a comprehensive climate transition plan. This plan guides our shift toward more sustainable business practices and aims to reduce carbon emissions by 1–2% over a two-year period. We intend to submit science-based targets to the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in line with a 1.5°C global warming pathway.
Our sustainability efforts encompass all our operations around the world. We consolidate environmental data across our business to ensure consistent, transparent reporting and continuous improvement.
Key elements of our climate strategy include:
- Reducing travel-related emissions by collaborating with clients to deliver services virtually or in hybrid formats when appropriate, and by prioritizing the assignment of the closest qualified coaches for on-site engagements.
- Promoting energy optimization across our remote-first operations by encouraging efficient work practices and responsible digital infrastructure usage.
- Aligning with client sustainability priorities, including Scope 3 emissions considerations, by adapting our delivery models and reporting practices to support their environmental goals.
