Growing up in Southern China, Franklin was captivated by radio dramas of Chinese mythology and international cartoons. These stories ignited his love for storytelling, though public speaking was initially a challenge. With encouragement from mentors, he overcame his fears and even competed in speech contests. This journey made him realize that many people struggle to share their ideas effectively, sparking his passion for coaching public speaking.

Franklin finds deep fulfillment in helping clients transform their thoughts into impactful, value-driven communication. A participant from Johnson & Johnson once told him, "We used to skip training sessions, but yours was the first we couldn't wait to return to. You've given us both the confidence and methods to change." Feedback like this confirms that he has found his life's calling in empowering others through better communication. Over the past decade, he has trained more than 40 Fortune 500 companies, including Google, Adidas, BMW, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer, in business presentation, meeting skills, cross-cultural communication, and management.

In addition to his coaching career, Franklin has achieved significant milestones. He won second place in the 2022 Toastmasters District 85 (Eastern China) International Speech Contest and was a top 10 contestant in the 2007 "CCTV-Cup" National English Public Speaking Contest. Franklin owns a video studio producing educational videos and cartoons and has designed blended learning materials since 2015. A strong believer in Six Sigma, he uses it to improve coaching quality.

Franklin also volunteered for an online audio dictionary project to preserve Wu Chinese, recording 2,000 characters in his native Wuxi dialect. Additionally, he enjoys traveling around the world, tasting and researching various cuisines, and attempting to cook them at home himself.
