Being passionate about education, planning, and diversity her whole life, Yolany became a certified User Experience, Scrum Master, and Product/Project Manager to support educational companies in becoming team-centered, and goal-oriented, helping them to break big strategic tasks into easy actionable ideas. This passion leads her to her current role as the Director of the Program Office at LifeHikes; leading cross-functional planning and collaboration between departments.

In her prior role, Yolany was the Senior Manager for Laureate Advantage Courseware at Laureate International Universities. There she strategized the implementation of 80+ courses in 30+ universities globally, leading Deans and Faculty in helping students improve their access to academic quality and supporting the delivery of online courses in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Prior to joining Laureate, Yolany spent time as a University Professor and a Career Coordinator of 30+ faculty and 200+ students, with a focus on affordable high-quality education, improving the lives of students and communities.

Yolany resides in Honduras with her husband, Roberto. She is the mom of two boys, Mateo and Sebastian; as a family, they enjoy watching movies, hosting friends and family, and traveling to new places, together.
