As an educator and coach, Miguel is impassioned by the look in people’s eyes when they discover something that changes their mindset or improves their skills. As a trained actor and stage director, he strives to create unforgettable experiences that touch people’s hearts and move them to action. At LifeHikes®, he has found the perfect opportunity to help people find their unique voice by means of coaching or designing products.

He has not had a linear career. He served as a Honduran diplomat in Mexico; then, he worked in real estate for Walmart. He later combined his passions for business and education through his work with the after-school tutoring franchise Mathnasium, before joining Laureate Education, where he managed its BPO office in Honduras.

He is the founder of Cinta-x, a company that focuses on developing soft skills for professionals in Central America. He also teaches graduate-level management and leadership courses at UNITEC University in Honduras. He speaks regularly at conferences on entrepreneurship, networking, and business communication, and has been a speaker at TEDx Tegucigalpa. He has also created educational content for IXL and Platzi.

Miguel obtained his Global MBA at Thunderbird School of Global Management. He holds a team coaching certification from Tec de Monterrey and ICT in Mexico, and as a lifelong learner, is currently studying Adult Learning at the University of Geneva.

Miguel’s interests include martial arts (he has black belts in both Aikido and Taekwondo), yoga (he’s training to master his handstand), acting (stage and film), and languages (he is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese). He is currently based in Annecy, France with his family.
