An experienced educator and coach, Lauren Xiong believes passionately in the power of lifelong learning. Growing up and working in China, she witnessed talented classmates and colleagues miss opportunities simply because they lacked the tools to speak confidently. She’s proud to use her passion for education, empowerment and self-improvement to help the next generation of leaders speak up and excel in their fields.

Lauren has an impressive 15.5-year background in teaching and training with roles at leading international language schools like English First Education and New Oriental Education. Most recently, she worked as a Senior Project Consultant and teacher at Wall Street English. Lauren has also provided ESL training to SC Johnson, Morgan Stanley and the women’s Chinese National water polo team. Along with a Masters in Education from Walden University, Lauren holds TEFL Certification from International House World Organization and is a certified PMP with Aura International.

When she is not teaching, Lauren is an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast. She’s completed an incredible six marathons to-date and recently placed first out of all Asian runners in the Portsea Twilight 8K race in Australia. She also enjoys climbing, mountain biking and hiking, and has embarked on four remote hiking and camping excursions in the Tibetan Mountains. Lauren lives in Shanghai, China and loves traveling to new destinations as often as she can.
